An interesting commission to create an “unmatched pair” of side tables of about the same size and made from like materials. The lively broad curl Beech for the tops is a “rare bird” and difficult to work but the result was warm and stunning. Pau Ferro, for the bases, is a colorful, dense and hard wood but worked well for this design.
